A new alternative for aphid control!
One of the most important tasks in horticultural production is the proper control of insect pests. The timing of control and its effectiveness can be a very important economic factor.
Dose: 0,1-0,15 %
Aphids are relatively easy to spot, the adults are 1-2 mm in size, often have wings and their sucking action causes the leaves to become distorted, discoloured, blackened and in many cases the crop becomes unmarketable and inedible. In addition, as vectors of viruses, aphids can also cause secondary infections in crops, so it is particularly important to act very quickly against them.
A number of insecticides with different modes of action are currently available to control aphids. Using them correctly can be an effective way to fight them, but there are also a number of trade-offs to be made. Care must be taken to ensure that withdrawal periods for occupational health and food safety are observed, and that different modes of action are combined.
It is well known that the choice of some crops is becoming increasingly limited due to the withdrawal of active substances, which can significantly reduce the effectiveness of pest control. Insecticide resistance in pests is also a growing problem today.
What is NanoTac EC and what makes it so effective?
NanoTac EC offers a safe alternative to conventional insecticides in pest control. Its action is based on ICB Pharma's patented physical action-only technology. The IPNS patent (Three Dimensional Immobilising Polymeric Mesh Structure) creates a thin, sticky polymer mesh structure on the body surface of the sprayed pest. The sprayed liquid immobilises the pests immediately after drying, immobilising them and preventing them from being sucked in again, thus killing them quickly (80-85% efficiency).
The thin coating on the plant is completely environmentally friendly and disappears 1-2 days after treatment. It has no effect on the efficacy of other pesticides and foliar fertilizers or on the plant itself. The use of NanoTac EC is an excellent resistance breaker and can be applied alone or in combination with an insecticide. The efficacy of treatments is highly dependent on the spray technique, and maximum effect is only achieved when perfect coverage is achieved.
