Use: Place 1 peat tine in each peat pot. Place the pots on a tray and gradually fill with 125 ml of warm water. When the water has been absorbed by the pot, pour 75ml of warm water on top. In the prepared soil mix, make a well for sowing or transplanting (pricking out) large enough to accommodate the seed or seedling. Water at the end. Harden off the finished seedlings before transplanting, i.e. put them outdoors in a semi-shady place for a few days, but water them at night. Gradually expose to full sun. When the seedlings are of the right size, plant them outdoors in pots. Make a depression in the soil large enough for the peat pot to fit completely into (do not leave the rim of the pot on the surface). Press the soil around it and water thoroughly.
