Advantages:
On sunny but cold winter days, the south, south-east side of the bark warms up during the day and then cools down suddenly at the end of the day. The strong thermal fluctuations and the significant temperature difference between the sunny and shady sides of the trunk cause the bark to crack longitudinally over time, creating so-called frost lines, which threaten the tree's very existence. The white-coloured sapling guard, which has excellent heat and light reflecting properties, provides perfect protection against this warming.
In addition to the above, freshly planted saplings can be used to protect against rodents, especially rabbits.
The mesh contains a UV stabiliser for long life.
The flexible mesh can be fitted to the trunk of the tree in one movement, flexibly following the growth of the trunk diameter.
