RPR English perennial /Lolium perenne stoloniferum/ is a regenerating subspecies of English perennial /Lolium perenne/, developing shoots close to the ground from which new plants emerge.

RPR's English periwinkle has excellent resistance to heavy wear and tear and also provides an attractive appearance on the surface. The ability to be planted quickly, the early recovery in spring and its tolerance to heavy use make it a very good choice for the planting and renovation of hard-wearing areas such as sports fields and for lawns around the house.

Shoots close to the ground surface spread horizontally and give rise to new plants, so that damaged areas of damaged grass can quickly regenerate from damaged, incomplete turf.

Thanks to the spreading of near-surface shoots, a system or network of grass plants develops, which ensures tolerance to high stresses and trampling, making the turf surface more difficult to damage.
