Sowing: all year round in bowls (indoors)
Germination: 6-8 weeks 25-28°C / 7-10 cm seedling in pots

Flowering: 3-4 years
Fast growing leafy ornamental with slightly wavy, glossy leaves. It grows best in the conservatory. It takes 3-4 years for the snow-white, vanilla-scented flowers to appear, which later develop into red berries. Height max. 150 cm. It requires a high peat content, a permeable medium and a light, airy but warm place. Feed weekly. Before planting, pre-soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 48 hours and carefully remove the seed coat. Place the seed on the medium, but do not cover with soil, just place a transparent sheet of plastic wrap over the seed until the seedling reaches 3 cm. Only the strongest seedlings are worth growing. Protect from the hot sun, as it can burn the leaves. During the dormant period (Oct-March), keep them preferably at 12-15°C.
