A 25 gram rodent control cube with the same properties as the rodent control block, recommended primarily for placement in mouse feeding fittings. The consumption of the rodenticide can be easily determined by the clearly visible chew marks.
The product is used in areas where rodent infestation is detected. Estimate the extent of rodent infestation from the traces or visible damage and treat accordingly.
Consider the use of an appropriate insecticide to avoid the risk of resistance to the active ingredient of the baits (bromadiolone) in the area before starting the eradication. If possible, remove all other food sources before baiting. The method of application will depend primarily on local conditions, but the primary objective is always to prevent access to the bait by unauthorised persons and non-target animals.
The rodenticidal block may be placed in a dedicated rodent-proof feeding box or box that is protected against opening, in areas frequented by mice, along their migration routes or near their suspected hiding places.
Ensure that feeding stations are securely fixed.
Application dosage of Protect? paraffin rodenticide block for killing mice:
? for low nuisance: 50 grams every 10 metres
? for high nuisance: 50 grams every 5 metres
The rodenticide application equipment must be conspicuously marked with the name, active substance, repellent, name, address and telephone number of the applicator in accordance with EMMI Regulation 16/2017 (VIII.7).
Check feeding sites daily initially and then once a week and replace any bait consumed. Replace bait if it is spoiled or mouldy.
If the baits placed out are consistently running out, establish more feeding sites, but do not increase the amount of baits placed out at each feeding site. If the baits remain intact but rodents are still present, move the baits elsewhere.
Due to the delayed action of the anticoagulant, the onset of rodent mortality is expected to be 3-5 days after ingestion. Leave baits out only as long as rodent activity warrants. Do not use baits unduly with continuous dispersal. It is desirable to combine the use of the product with the simultaneous introduction of an integrated pest management (IPM/IPC) system. The use of the product ? in the majority of cases ? If rodent infestation persists after this period, the cause of the infestation should be investigated and the necessary measures taken.
Marketing category: Vaccine of marketing category III

Shelf life and storage: Store in its original, sealed container, protected from light, in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight for 2 years from the date of manufacture. Keep away from sources of ignition and oxidising substances.

The disposal of dead rodent carcasses as hazardous waste must be ensured in accordance with the provisions of Government Decree 225/2015 (VIII/7). Eliminate feeding areas after treatment. Collect any remaining excreta and feeding trays. Any rennet that has become waste and cannot be used for its original purpose should be treated as hazardous waste and disposed of at a hazardous waste reception point, e.g. a yard.
