KILRAT® rodenticide pulp

For use on:

For the control of Norway rats (Rattus norvegicus) and house mice (Mus musculus) in confined spaces and in the immediate vicinity of buildings. Residential use.

Instructions for use:

Activities prior to use of the repellent:

Apply the preparation in areas where rats, mice are observed. The presence of rodents can be inferred from their characteristic traces (nests, holes, migration paths, droppings, etc.) or from the damage caused by their chewing. Based on the tracks or visible damage, estimate the extent to which the rodents have multiplied and then carry out the eradication based on this information.

Before applying the product, consider whether the rodent damage you are experiencing can be eliminated without the use of a rodenticide. Use insecticide only when justified! Do not use to prevent rodent infestation or to detect rodent activity.

Check the area to be treated before eradication to increase the effectiveness of the treatment and to prevent re-infestation. Eliminate holes, pitting and, if possible, all food (e.g. food waste, spilled grain, etc.) and liquid sources available to rodents. Apart from this, when applying rodenticide, do not clean up the infested area as this will disturb the rodent population and make consumption of the rodenticide more difficult.

Preparing the rennet for use:

Do not open the bag containing the rodenticide pulp. Do not open the pouch. Do not open the pouch. The special packaging allows you to safely dispense the rodenticide without touching it directly.

Place the pouch in a feeding tray that is protected against opening by children and non-target organisms, and against contact with the rodenticide placed inside. We recommend the use of the so-called Multibaiter® feeding tray marketed by Bábolna Bio Ltd.

If possible, the filter paper bag should be secured by means of a rod or spike in the feeding tray.

The feeding tray must be clearly and indelibly marked with the following information. (06-80-201-199) Kilrat rodenticide pulp, active substance: 0,0025 %

Application of the insecticide:

Place the feeding tray containing the insecticide in places frequented by rats, mice, on their migration routes or near their suspected hiding places. In particular, set up feeding areas along walls, under cupboards and behind furniture.

Make sure that the feeding tray is placed out of reach of children, pets, livestock and other wildlife.

If possible, ensure that the feeding trough is secured. Protect the crate from direct water, rain and adverse weather conditions. Fertiliser should only be placed in a closed feeding tray!

Steps for handling:

Application dose:

When killing rats: 100 g to 200 g per 5 m, depending on the degree of infestation.

When killing mice: 20 g - 40 g per 5 m, depending on the degree of infestation.

Check feeding sites regularly (initially every 2 to 3 days for mice, then at least weekly thereafter, after 5 to 7 days for rats, then at least weekly). If the pouch is emptied by the rodents, place a new pouch in the box. Remove any contaminated or spoiled rodenticide and place a new one in the crate.

If the bait you put out keeps running out, set up more feeding stations. If the baits remain intact but rodents are still present, move the feeding tray containing the rodenticide to another location.

Rodent mortality starts 3-5 days after consumption. Leave baits out only as long as rodent activity warrants. Rodent damage usually disappears within 2-6 weeks after treatment. If rodent damage persists after 35 days, consult a pest control professional.

At the latest 6 weeks after the application of the rennet, stop feeding and collect any scattered rennet.

Precautionary measures

For rodent control only and only use according to the instructions for use! To avoid risks to human health and the environment, follow the instructions for use.

Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. After use, wash hands and skin surfaces that have been in direct contact with the rennet.

Do not use the product to kill non-target animals! Feeding areas must be located so that neither children nor non-target animals have access to the baits. The preparation is toxic to mammals and birds. Dogs, cats, pigs and all other carnivorous and/or scavenging animals may be poisoned if they consume rats or mice that have died or been weakened by the rodenticide.

Do not use contaminated, spoiled rodenticide.

Keep separate from food, drink and feed and out of the reach of children and non-target animals. Do not allow the product to enter living water.

Always read the label before use and follow the instructions for use in all circumstances.
