The product can also be used in the Agro-ecological Programme (AEP). It can be sprayed before seedbed preparation and then worked into the soil. For sunflowers, it can be applied with herbicides requiring incorporation. For vegetables, it can also be applied by drip irrigation.
Mode of action
Trichoderma protects the plant against attack by soil-borne pathogens by colonising the root system. It is responsible for the establishment of a healthy rhizosphere by producing antibiotic substances, parasitising pathogenic fungal filaments and producing plant growth stimulants. By inducing induced resistance, the plant becomes more resistant to pathogen attack. Its use will also improve the photosynthetic activity of plants.
