Evergreen small shrub. The large, white or pinkish, very striking flowers open in summer. The flower buds and unripe fruit are used in the kitchen.

It is sun-loving. Suggested sowing temperature: 20-30°C. Can be sown in the open ground or in a plastic container. 0.5cm deep, 10cm apart.
