The tannin is dissolved in 10 times the volume of wine and poured into the wine to be clarified, stirring continuously. The gelatine is allowed to swell for 10 hours, the remaining water is poured off and dissolved in 5-10 times warm water (40oC). The resulting solution must be used within a short time. The quantity required is always determined by laboratory tests and the quantities allowed by the wine law.

Store in a dry, cool place, protected from sunlight.
