Elegant garden light, same principle of operation as the portable unit, with 4 AAA batteries, it provides the brightness of a candle with the mosquito repellent effect. It can be a decorative part of your garden or terrace. Garden lamp. The refill is only for use in the original product. Do not keep partially used inserts. Used inserts and packaging should be disposed of in the rubbish. Avoid contact with food and kitchen utensils. Keep in a safe place away from children and animals. Do not contaminate streams, lakes with packaging or used inserts. Harmful to bees. Depending on the size of the area, the device will take effect within 10-30 minutes of being switched on. It is very useful outdoors where there is little air movement, or on patios, yards, gardens, or even camping. One lamp is effective over an area of about 21m2. It illuminates while keeping mosquitoes and small insects away. The lamp is battery operated and uses ThermaCell cartridges to repel mosquitoes. It is recommended to use more than one lamp for larger areas. Wind, heat, humidity and rain can affect the effectiveness of the device. The lamp will not work with any other cartridge than ThermaCell. 1. Insert the 4pcs AAA batteries into the holder at the bottom of the lamp. At LOW setting the battery life is 200 hours, at HIGH setting 50 hours. 2. One insert is effective for approximately 4 hours. When worn out, the colour changes from blue to white. 3. Check that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position, then place the insert under the grid on top of the lamp. 4. Remove the lamp body by pressing the small plastic tongues on either side of the battery holder. 5. Unscrew the cap of the butane gas cartridge and screw it into the centre of the lamp. Put the lamp back in its base. 1Db cartridge will last for about 12 hours. 6. For low light, set it to LOW, for high light, set it to HIGH. To switch off, press the OFF button. The alarm effect is not affected. Whether the lamp is used with or without a light. 7. To activate the device, press the ON button. 8. Wait 5 to 10 seconds, then press the START button in 3 to 4 rapid succession. 9. The operation of the lamp can be checked through the opening at the top. You should see a small orange light when it is on. If you do not see the light, check that the cartridge is inserted correctly. If the cartridge is empty, it should be replaced. 10. Never touch the grille as it always gets hot during operation and small steam may be generated. When the lamp is no longer in use, turn the knob to the OFF position. If it was used with a light, turn the lower switch to OFF. Let it cool down. 11. Always replace the insert when the lamp is cool, and replace the used insert with the new one. Safety instructions. After use, wash after use. Keep unopened inserts in a safe place. Do not touch the grid during use, do not place anything behind the grid other than the insert. Always place the device on a stable surface with the grid facing upwards and do not cover it. Use a damp cloth to keep the appliance clean (when switched off and cooled down). Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry, cool place, away from children and animals. Even when empty, cartridges must not be punctured, broken or thrown into a fire. The device contains butane gas and should not be exposed to direct heat. Do not smoke near it. Avoid contact of cartridges with other materials. The cartridges contain butane gas, do not expose them to direct sunlight or temperatures above 50C.
