An evergreen clump-forming, summer-flowering, rhizomatous plant. Flat, iris-like, pale to light yellow flowers develop in succession on branched stems; outer bracts have brown spots on the base. Planting distance: 30-60cm, height: 1m.
They are very hardy plants, tolerating both hot sun and shade, and are not demanding on the medium.
