For good growth it needs a nutritious but slightly sandy soil. As they develop strong roots when young, they should be kept in large pots. Growth is slow at a young age. They require a regular water supply, but can tolerate drought from time to time.
They can be damaged by woodlice.
For its management, the general procedures for palms are used.
Minimum temperature : - 14-15 °C
Frost tolerant. Germination is easy and emergence can be expected after 1 month.
