What is a shower flower?
Its richly coloured flowers, with their unusual designs, make it a favourite in parks and gardens. Its daisy-like flowers are 6-8 cm long and stand singly above the leaves. The flowers, which bloom profusely, are single or double. Main colours are yellow and orange-red with brown bands and rings.
Sowing of the shower flower:
Sow in March in a greenhouse, can be moved to a permanent site in May.
When does the shower flower bloom?
The flowers, which grow continuously from June to October, open only in sunny weather, in the early morning to early afternoon.
Where to plant?
It can be planted in flowerbeds, rock gardens, stone pots or even as a cut flower. Its 25-30 cm tall, neatly divided leaves form a rosette of leaves near the ground.
