DUETTO is suitable for the fertilisation of fast growing plants and crops requiring high amounts of potassium due to its special organic matter content. Potassium plays an important role in improving crop quality, cell wall formation and fruit production (e.g. tomatoes, peppers, grapes, fruit, tobacco). Potassium, due to its role in photosynthesis, influences plant assimilation, but also has a positive effect on plant water balance and drought tolerance. The role of potassium in overwintering is outstanding. DUETTO complex contains organic active ingredients with a potassium excess. It is ideal for crops grown in high salinity soils. It can also be used on high chloride soils and chloride sensitive crops.

High levels of active and humified ingredients can significantly improve the microbiological, physical and chemical structure of soils and increase their buffering capacity in a short time. Organic matter prevents leaching of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements. Their effect is particularly impressive in sandy soils. All organic plant nutrients listed in the catalogue are also authorised for organic farming.

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE

Italpollina organic nutrients can be applied from spring to autumn, regardless of the weather, because there is no leaching loss. The organic materials are also suitable for nutrient replenishment and top dressing of soils before sowing and planting. It is recommended to work the organic matter into the soil at a depth of 5-15 cm in order to fully promote soil microbial activity. The organic manure pellets work best in a moist soil environment. Aim to maintain optimum soil moisture and it is recommended that the treated area is always well watered after application. For fruit plantations, application before rainfall or snowfall is an excellent solution, but it can also be applied on snow. It can be applied not only by working it into the soil, but also by spraying it on the surface (vines, fruit and lawns), thanks to the fact that the organic matter is not charred and is very easily dissolved in the soil without covering.

APPLICATION: 0,3-2,5 t/ha, depending on the type of plant, the active ingredient content and soil quality.
