Black veil foil 1,6x10m 50g/m2

UV-50 AGRO veil film inhibits soil evaporation. It also allows the cultivation of heat-demanding fruit and vegetables in less favourable climatic conditions. The black veil film effectively prevents weed growth, reducing or eliminating the need for herbicides. It is particularly effective in strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers.
The black mulch film weighing 50 g/m2 is spread on the prepared soil 14 to 24 days before planting and the edges are ground round. This will allow a favourable soil temperature to be achieved underneath by the time the seedlings are planted. This promotes germination, root development and healthy plant growth. At the planting sites, the foil is pierced or cut with a knife in a cross shape.

Its great advantage over classic PE film is that it is permeable to water over its entire surface.

Stabilized against the sun's ultraviolet rays with special additives, it is an extremely strong film, which can be used for 3-4 seasons with careful handling and storage. The used material can be incinerated without risk of environmental pollution, because 100% polypropylene produces only harmless water vapour and carbon dioxide.
