Details
Brinkman Fe-EDDHA 7% is an iron chelate containing 7% iron. It is a water-soluble iron microgranulate (ethylenediamine) bis-(2-hydroxyphenyl acetate). Brinkman Fe-EDDHA 7% contains 2.8% Ortho-Ortho chelate, the remaining 4.2% consists of Ortho-Para and Para-Pata chelates.

The iron in this fertilizer is bound to EDDHA chelate. This chelate is suitable for crops with a pH of around or above 6.5. It is stable up to pH 10.

The plant uses the iron for the photosynthesis process, this ensures that chlorophyll can be formed. It is also an important nutrient for the development of the root growth point.

Dosage

As soon as possible after the substrate has been planted out, the application of the micro-element should be started, injecting it into the top few centimetres. It is very important that the medium is soft to be broken up if the soil is densely compacted.

Arable crops
1 - 5 kg/ha
Trees 25 - 100 gr/tree
Shrubs 0.5 - 2.5 kg/100 shrubs
Berry plants 0.5 - 1.0 kg/100 plants

Application

Brinkman Fe-EDDHA 7% can be used in crops with a pH of around 6.5 or above, as Ortho-Ortho chelate maintains a stable pH up to 10. This can occur in many crops such as field crops, trees, shrubs and berries. It is an ideal iron chelate for the prevention of iron deficiency.

Use

Brinkman EDDHA 7% is best applied to the soil by dissolving it in a suitable amount of water (e.g. 10 grams per litre) and then applying it as a coarse, low pressure spray. For deep-rooted trees and shrubs, Brinkman EDDHA 7% can be applied to the root supply zone by pressure injection.

Brinkman EDDHA 7% can also be applied by irrigation systems by periodically adding 1.0 kg per hectare to 10 000 litres of water. The frequency of addition depends on the degree of deficiency
