The product contains spores and mycelia of the hyperparasitic fungus Arthrobothrys oligospora and creates unfavourable conditions for soil-dwelling pests.

Artis is a biological preparation harmless to humans and the environment. Its use reduces the chemical pesticide load on agricultural production. It can also be used in organic farming.
