Description of the species:

Medium-thick, slightly anthocyanin stem, less prone to toppling.
Leaves medium green, elongated, slightly jagged.
Flowers: mixed shades of blue and purple predominate, but white and greyish flowers are also found.
Spikelets are 3-4 whorled, with 8-10 seeds.
Weight per thousand: 2,1 - 2,3 g

Economic value:

Can be grown mainly under extensive conditions with gentle mowing for up to 7 years using a 40-day mowing rotation throughout the country. It regenerates quickly after mowing. Drought tolerant. Excellent resistance to Fusarium and Verticilium. Also suitable for intensive use. Good winter frost resistance.
