Voliam Targo contains two active substances: chlorantraniliprole acts as a contact and stomach poison, is translaminar absorbed into the plant and has a long duration of action, while abamectin, as an absorbable active substance, has a different mechanism of action and spectrum of action. The two active substances support each other to provide rapid action and long-lasting efficacy against moth larvae, while providing reliable protection against leafminers, mites, acnose fly and thrips.

In apples, treatment against apple moths should be based on sex pheromone trap swarming observations and should be timed to the onset of mass swarming. The product is excellent for use in summer brood mating and for application during the summer breeding and larval period of drift moths due to its ovicidal and laricidal activity. In case of prolonged swarming, treatment should be repeated after 10-14 days.

In pears, the biological efficacy of the product against pear leaf spot can be enhanced by the addition of 0,25% Agrol Plus.
