Knowledge of how to develop and adapt systems is also important to avoid the pitfalls of designing and adapting systems. These include knowledge related to IT strategy development, project management and system development/adaptation methodologies. In our book, after a discussion of the basics of systems and information theory, we will discuss the general characteristics of information systems, followed by enterprise systems and then the main macro-systems of the agricultural economy. Finally, systems and solutions at the microeconomic level specific to agriculture are described, based mainly on descriptions published by system developers. The book is recommended for practitioners as well as for students in higher education.
