In apple, pear and grape crops, moth control should be adapted to pheromone-trap swarming observation and applied after oviposition, at the beginning of mass larval emergence. Control may be repeated every 7-10 days depending on the intensity of the swarming. The minimum interval between treatments is 7 days in apple and pear orchards and 10 days in vineyards. The phenostasis of the last treatment is the beginning of ripening.
In field and sprout crops of peppers, tomatoes, green beans, courgettes, melons, pumpkins and lettuce, treatments against cotton owl aphid should be adapted to pheromone-trap swarming observations after oviposition, at the beginning of mass larval emergence. The treatment can be repeated every 7-10 days depending on the intensity of the swarming. If there is a serious risk of infestation, a higher dose is recommended.
The recommended spray rates are 600-1000 l/ha for apple and pear orchards, 500-1200 l/ha for vineyards and 400-1200 l/ha for vegetable crops, depending on the size of the foliage and the type of machinery used. Maximum number of treatments per vegetation: 3.
For the protection of bees and other pollinating insects, do not apply during the flowering season or in the presence of flowering weeds.
