What type of spray is Oily Copper and where is it recommended?

Oily Copper is a liquid detergent and fungicide spray. In apple orchards and vineyards it is used to control bacterial and fungal diseases. It can also be used as an early spring flushing spray for the control of aphids, scale insects and mite pests. Also authorised for organic production.

What are the ingredients in Oily Copper ?

Active ingredient: 90 g/l metallic copper (in the form of copper oxychloride) + 210 g/l sulphur + 420 g/l mineral oil

Oily Copper Sulphur contains a factory combination of copper oxychloride, micronised elemental sulphur and mineral oil (white oil), which have been used separately for a long time and are very popular in plant protection.

What is the effect of the combination of these ingredients?

The combination of the triple active ingredient has a triple effect: it kills and kills powdery mildew fungi, bacterial and other fungal diseases (twig blight, needle blight, etc.), and insect overwintering.

The proposed crop protection technology of Oily Copper:

Quantity of Oily Copper Sulphur required for 10 litres of spray:

Home use: 250 ml/10 l water.

- 0,3-0,4 litres in apple crops as close as possible to bud break
- in grapes until woolly

10 l of spray is usually sufficient for 100 m2 of area!

The preparation must be shaken before use!

Application of the preparation:

To avoid possible phytotoxicity, the use of the preparation is prohibited in apple orchards from bud break! However, spraying should be carried out as close to bud break as possible, as overwintering eggs of aphids and spider mites are most susceptible at this time, during the last stage of embryonic development.
During application, care should be taken to ensure that fruit trees and vines are covered with a wash.
