Product information
RECOMMENDED CROP PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY:

Control should be based on forecasting and treatments should be started when pests appear. Repeat treatment is necessary in case of prolonged infestation or overgrowth.

In apple and peach crops, control of aphid progenitors and progeny should be carried out before colonies are established, and in the case of host aphid species, control should also be carried out on summer-flowering progeny.

In arable crops, it is recommended to start the management based on plant surveys or on the basis of mud net monitoring after the first individuals have established.

Also in vegetables, treatments should be started when pests emerge, based on yellow eelworm forecasting, and repeated if necessary to control progeny.

In brassicas and poppies, the addition of a wetting agent to the spray is recommended. In poppies, heavy aphid infestation should be applied in combination with another authorised insecticide.

MODE OF ACTION, SPECTRUM OF ACTION:

Pirimor is an insecticide with a strong detergency. Due to its rapid absorption, it immediately inhibits the feeding of viral vector insects, thus preventing the transmission of plant pathogenic viruses and their introduction into the plant.

SPECIAL ADVANTAGES:

formulation specifically for aphid control
the only carbamate-type active substance on the market
rapid absorption
the only unique active ingredient in the market
immediate feeding and inhibition of virus spreading
non-labelling for bees
