Absorbable fungicide spray for the protection of vines
Active ingredient:
250 g/l spiroxamine
167 g/l tebuconazole
43 g/l triadimenol
Three absorbable active ingredients for the control of grape phylloxera. The active substances are effective against the disease individually, but the combination improves the speed and effectiveness of their action.
Proposed technology:
Grape phylloxera is a pathogen that affects not only the quantity and quality of the grapes but also the quality of the wine produced from the grapes. It may not be as well known, but the presence of even a few percent (1-5%) of infection on the bunches can affect the taste of the wine (Australian researchers reported in 2004 that their experiments on Chardonnay had demonstrated adverse changes in must and wine aroma and taste). The life of this fungal disease is entirely tied to the vine, so it does not infect or multiply on other plants. This is important to know because in the spring and summer the infective material for the following year is produced in the plantation. If we can keep infestation levels low all year round, we will also have less overwintering infective material in the field, which will have a positive effect on the following year's crop protection.
Falcon is applied preventatively every 7-14 days for grape powdery mildew control. Shorter spray cycles are recommended for very high infection pressure (25°C and high dew formation) and longer (10-14 days) for medium to low infection risk. Control can be started before flowering, taking into account the previous year's infestation and the forecast. For the protection of mildew susceptible varieties (e.g. Rhine Riesling, Rieslingszilváni, Hárslevelű, Blauburger, Kékoportó, Kékfrankos, etc.) we strongly recommend. If the disease has already appeared on the plant, Falcon is applied with the shorter spray round.
It can also be used in combination with Melody Compact, approved for grapevine peronospora control, or Profiler, when incorporated into a grape protection technology. These combinations may be applied alternately (rotationally) with other combinations with different modes of action during the growing season or in a single block (maximum two applications in a row).
Occupational health waiting time: 0 days
Food health withdrawal period: 35 days
Shelf life: 3 years in original, sealed packaging in a controlled storage warehouse.
When using, follow the instructions on the label and in the product's authorisation document
