Dithane Organic Contact Fungicide is recommended for preventive use in horticultural crops based on a forecast and incorporated into a spray schedule. Control should be initiated on detection of symptoms of infestation and repeated as necessary every 7 to 8 days during periods of epidemic risk. The amount of water required for application should be chosen according to the type of plantation, the size of the foliage and the type of sprayer.

In sunflower, Dithane 2 kg/ha + carbendazim 2 l/ha should be applied at the 6-8 leaf stage for the control of grey and white mold late blight and stem disease, diaporthose and alternaria stem disease. In case of high infection pressure, the spraying should be repeated at bud break or at lemon ripening.

In Kalászos, control should be carried out at the end of flowering, at flowering, in combination with powdery mildew control.
