The Gronamic range
Combines organic and mineral nutrients with Organo-mineral nutrients. A balanced and reliable nutrient supply can be achieved by using them all year round.
Key benefits:
-Multiple sources of nitrogen for gradual nutrient release
-Complex formulations contain Polyhalite (source of K, Ca, Mg, S)
-Long potency
-Low C:N ratio, which promotes faster nutrient uptake
Composition and effect:
Organic matter content of products ranges from 39-100%
Nitrogen comes from multiple sources: Urea, ammonium, organic nitrogen
C:N ratio in all products is optimized for mineralization
Order of N sources:
- Ammonium → Urea → Organic (mineralizing) N
Gronamic products contain a variety of carefully selected N sources → for phased nutrient uptake
As the Gronamic granules decompose in the lawn:
- Ammonium first,
- Then urea,
- Finally, mineralizing organic nitrogen supplies the plant.
Result: a sustained supply of nitrogen from a single product.
The C:N ratio of Gronamic products allows mineralisation of organic nutrients without immobilisation.
The C:N ratio determines whether:
- organic nutrients are readily converted into an absorbable form,
- mineralization (release) or immobilization (binding).
General rule:
- C:N < 20:1 → mineralisation occurs (all Gronamic products fall under this rule)
- C:N > 30:1 → immobilisation occurs
Recommendation for use:
Package: 25 kg
Dosage: 25-40 g/m²
Duration of action: 6-12 weeks
Granule size:2-4 mm
Characteristics of ICL Gronamic Sport High N lawn manure:
Gronamic High N provides a sustained supply of nutrients to the turf throughout the growing season. It contains all the essential macronutrients and iron, resulting in healthy plants, excellent colour and good trampling tolerance. The balance of mineral and organic components provides the benefits of both nutrient source methods. Adds carbon to the soil/root zone.
Guaranteed composition:
N: 16 %
P: 3 %
K: 6 %
Fe: 0,5 %
Organic matter content: 49%
Benefits of use:
-
Ideal during the main growing seasons of the season
-
High nitrogen content for sustained growth
-
Combination of ammonium, urea and organic nitrogen sources
-
Contains polyhalite mineral which provides MgO and K for healthy growth
-
The organic component adds carbon to the soil
Recommended dosage:
30-40 g/m2
Test on a small area first before adjusting the dose or any other variable.
As application conditions may vary and our products may not be applied in the same fieldICL control, the company cannot be held responsible for any adverse results.
Instructions for use:
1 Apply to a dry lawn surface 2 If there is no rainfall within 1-2 days of application, water in 3 Irrigation or rainfall will help to break down the granules and reduce the risk of scorching on short mown surfaces 4 Avoid application during periods of frost or drought 5 Do not mow or aerate the lawn for 2 days after application to ensure proper distribution of the product 6 The product contains iron, so if it is spilled on paving, concrete or decorative surfaces, sweep it off immediately as it may cause discolouration
