The Gronamic range
Combines organic and mineral nutrients with Organo-mineral nutrients. A balanced and reliable nutrient supply can be achieved by using them all year round.
Key benefits:
-Multiple sources of nitrogen for gradual nutrient release
-Complex formulations contain Polyhalite (source of K, Ca, Mg, S)
-Long potency
-Low C:N ratio, which promotes faster nutrient uptake
Composition and effect:
Organic matter content of products ranges from 39-100%
Nitrogen comes from multiple sources: Urea, ammonium, organic nitrogen
C:N ratio in all products is optimized for mineralization
Order of N sources:
- Ammonium → Urea → Organic (mineralizing) N
Gronamic products contain a variety of carefully selected N sources → for phased nutrient uptake
As the Gronamic granules decompose in the lawn:
- Ammonium first,
- Then urea,
- Finally, mineralizing organic nitrogen supplies the plant.
Result: a sustained supply of nitrogen from a single product.
The C:N ratio of Gronamic products allows the mineralisation of organic nutrients without binding (immobilisation).
The C:N ratio determines whether:
- organic nutrients are readily converted into an absorbable form,
- mineralization (release) or immobilization (binding).
General rule:
- C:N < 20:1 → mineralisation occurs (all Gronamic products fall under this rule)
- C:N > 30:1 → immobilisation occurs
Recommendation for use:
Package: 25 kg
Dosage: 25-40 g/m²
Duration of action: 6-12 weeks
Granule size:2-4 mm
Characteristics of ICL Gronamic Preseeder:
Gronamic Preseeder provides a long-lasting nutrient supply for turf and is specifically designed for grass seeding and turf establishment. Phosphate supply is essential for the development of healthy young plants.while a balanced ratio of nitrogen and potassium ensures good rooting. The balance of mineral and organic components provides the benefits of both nutrient supply methods. It delivers carbon and a balanced C:N ratio to the soil/root zone.
Guaranteed composition:
N: 8%
P: 12%
K: 8%
Ca: 6%
Mg: 2.5%
Organic matter content: 73%
Benefits:
- High phosphorus content for the developing young plant
- Combination of ammonium, urea and organic nitrogen sources
- Organic and mineral components
Dosage:
Recommended dose:
25-40 g/m2
Directions for use:
1 Apply to the lawn bed when seeding or when over-seeding the lawn surface
2 If there is no rainfall within 1-2 days after application, irrigate.
3 Irrigation or rainfall will help to break down the granules and reduce the risk on short-cut surfaces
4 Avoid application in drought conditions
