A new vegetable innovation, the cross between curly kale and Brussels sprouts. The small 'florets' growing in the leaf fold are slightly open and heavily pollenized. In order for the 'flowers' to form and mature, the seed stalk (terminal shoot end) of the adult plant must be removed at the end of summer. A real gourmet vegetable with a slightly nutty flavour. Plant outdoors in mid-May.
