Features of the chocolate habanero chilli pepper:
The habanero is a beautiful and hot chilli variety. The chilli is popular in gardens and balconies as it grows compact and bushy. In flower, the deep green plants reach a height of 60-90 cm after about 70 days. Soon after, they grow into small peppers. To prepare spicy dishes, it is a good idea for the gardener to try to plant a sufficiently vigorous chilli pepper in the garden, such as the habanero chilli pepper.
Generally speaking, habañero chilli varieties should be equally well provided with adequate light space, warm temperatures and well-draining soil to achieve proper growth. These small, green-red-brownish-yellow Habanero peppers have a value on the Scoville scale of 100,000-445,000 SHU.
The pepper's pungency is usually indicated by the abbreviation SHU, which is used to measure the strength of the pepper.
Habanero peppers grow best when planted indoors and seeded. Plant habanero seedlings only after the danger of frost has passed.
Chocolate habaneros have the same flavour as all other habaneros, i.e. a delicately fruity, cantaloupe-like aroma and flavour with tropical fruit notes.
