Characteristics of the Tétényi ruby onion:
Highly productive, medium-long tear (130-140 days), very good yielding red onion. Spherical, with a well-closed neck. The skin colour is dark purple, the flesh is medium loose and the flavour is pleasant and slightly pungent. Use as fresh onions, salad (a bag contains about 500-550 seeds).
