Novosil plant conditioner for use in flowering

Natural stimulator of plant immunity and growth, effective in preventing fungal infections

The preparation is an aqueous emulsion of an extract of Siberian pine needles. The product was developed by researchers of the Novosibirsk Academic City. As Novosil is made from pure natural raw materials, its application is ecologically beneficial and environmentally friendly.


What are the effects of Novosil?

Novosil has been developed both for pre-sowing seed treatment and for foliar treatment during the active growth phase of the plant. It has application references for all vegetable crops, cereals, industrial crops, tree, shrub or bush fruits, etc.

The action of the preparation is based on the content of triterpenic acid extracted from the needles of the Scots pine, which, by stimulating the immune system of the plant, results in

Reduction of the susceptibility of the plant to fungal diseases by a factor of 2 to 4;
It increases the resistance to adverse external factors (frost, drought);
Accelerates seed germination and increases germination capacity and initial growth activity;
Accelerates fruit maturation by 3-6 days;
Increases yield by 2-4%;
Significantly reduces storage losses.



What to look out for?

Novosil cannot be used to cure the plant, i.e. it cannot be used against plant diseases that have already developed.

Nevertheless, its use significantly increases the plant's resistance to a wide range of phytopathogens, which significantly reduces the likelihood of the disease itself developing. As Novosil is made from natural raw materials, its components degrade in the environment in the same natural way and are used in the metabolic processes of plants and soil microflora, so they do not accumulate in the crop or in humans and animals.



Technical information

Active ingredient: natural mixture of terpenic acids obtained from Siberian pine needles.

Active ingredient content: 100 g plant extract per litre in the original concentrate, i.e. 10 % w/v

In intermediate working solution 5 g plant extract per litre, i.e. 0,5 % w/v

Form of preparation: aqueous emulsion

The preparation is marketed as an intermediate working solution prepared for use.

Compatibility: compatible with GeoSan Ltd.'s live-cell algal foliar fertilizers (AlgaSanBa), liquid top and foliar fertilizers (GeoLomb range), solution starters (GeoStart products) and new generation liquid microelemental formulations (GeoMicro products), as well as most herbicides, fungicides and insecticides, for use as tank mixes.

Hazard classification. The preparation is completely safe when applied to plants or soil according to the instructions for use.



Instructions for use

Shake before use! (Mandatory!)

Novosil is an aqueous emulsion, which means that small droplets of another liquid phase occur in a liquid, so that the active substance tends to settle out during storage or to form larger droplets by combining with smaller ones. This can be a problem because the distribution of the active ingredient is not uniform, i.e. it cannot be evenly distributed over the plant surface to be treated. This condition can be remedied by thoroughly shaking the product in the container.



Application doses per intermediate working solution

Before use, Novosil concentrate must be prepared into a working solution. This first step requires the provision of operating conditions and is therefore carried out in advance by Geosan Ltd. and the intermediate working solution obtained is placed on the market. The user pours the intermediate working solution into the tank of the application equipment after another shaking or stirring and dilutes it further with water at ambient temperature to the application concentration (application working solution) (see next chapter).

Application standard for authorised crops:

to improve the condition and resistance of cereals
treatment of seeds: 1 litre per tonne of intermediate working solution diluted with water to a volume of 10 litres (seed treatment working solution)
for foliar treatment at the time of bushing and mowing, 1 litre of intermediate working solution per hectare (0,6 litre of intermediate working solution for wheat) diluted with water to a volume of 300 litres (application working solution)
to improve the condition and increase the resistance of tomatoes, sprayed on the plant 3 times (at the opening of the first, second and third flower) at a rate of 1 litre of intermediate working solution per hectare, diluted with water to a volume of 300 litres
to improve the condition and increase the resistance of vineyards by spraying the foliage 2 times, at the beginning of flowering and 12 days later, with 1 litre of intermediate working solution per hectare diluted with 600 litres of water per hectare.

Pre-sowing seed treatment

2-3 days before sowing or immediately before sowing, the seed is moistened with seed treatment working solution for 30 minutes (see also table below). The treated seed is stored in a shaded, well-ventilated place until sowing.

Application of Novosil on plants

The working solution is applied to the plant surface by means of a foliar sprayer suitable for fine spraying or by spraying equipment, depending on the crop treated. According to the tests of the Institute of Apiculture and Bee Biology of the Centre for Animal Genetic Conservation (Gödöllő), the preparation is not dangerous to bees and can therefore be used and is highly recommended for use in flowering.

Repeat treatment with Novosil is usually applied after 2-3 weeks.

Application of Novosil in room and small garden sizes

For indoor use, dilute the intermediate working solution to at least 100 times its volume after shaking, pour into a pump bottle or small spray bottle and apply to the plant surface.

In small-scale crop production, any seed can be treated with the seed treatment working solution obtained by diluting the intermediate working solution with water to 10 times its volume and mixing. In this the seeds are soaked for 30 minutes, then the solution is poured off, the seed material is rinsed with water and sown. The treatment promotes vigorous plant development.
