The DCT technology:
The DCT technology is nothing more than a second coating of different composition around the Osmocote Exact granule, whose function is to delay the nutrient uptake. The double-coated granule is a delayed release of some of the nutrients from the medium after being worked into the granule, making them available to the plant.

Mechanism of action:
The duration of action of Osmocote Exact High K DCT is dependent on soil temperature.
The duration of action given is for soil temperatures of 21º C.
As the temperature changes, the duration of action changes as follows:
16ºC 6-7 months,
21 ºC 5-6 months,
26 ºC 4-5 months
