Homemade use: 150 g/10 l water.

Iron is found in mineral soils in oxide or hydroxide form. It is available to the plant at low pH levels. Iron is essential for chlorophyll formation and plays an important role in photosynthesis and plant respiration. Iron deficiency inhibits plant growth.

The symptoms of iron deficiency first appear on the upper part of the plant, on the younger leaves, the vascular spaces turn yellow and the leaf veins remain green. In severe cases, the young leaves turn white and die. Iron deficiency can be caused by low iron levels, too high pH or excessive calcium, zinc and magnesium. It is worth checking that the medium is adequately oxygenated and the soil is between an optimum 18-22 degrees Celsius. It is important that no algae grow in the medium/water tank as they use up iron and break down iron chelate.

Ferrilene 4,8 is a micronutrient preparation recommended for the rapid prevention and treatment of iron deficiency symptoms. It is the most stable iron micronutrient fertilizer in the form of EDDHA chelate and can be absorbed between pH 4-10. It provides iron uptake in calcareous soils and in poor quality (high pH) irrigation water.

Its action is long-lasting and its beneficial properties make it a first choice for the prevention and treatment of deficiencies through the soil.

Use:

Apply on the basis of professional advice or, in the absence of such advice, as follows:
Application by soil application is recommended during periods of intensive photosynthesis and increased nutrient uptake.

Fruit trees: 5-30 kg/ha
In outdoor vegetables: 5-15 kg/ha
Ornamentals: 5-15 kg/ha
