Over the past decades we have made a number of improvements to our second generation formulations. In 2009 we have again renewed the product range, added a new potassium formulation and increased the level of microelements.
The casing:
We have also improved our casing technology. The base material is Osmocote-grade natural vegetable resin, but a special process makes Osmocote Pro exceptionally resistant to the 'popcorn' phenomenon often associated with second generation products. Such products quickly lose their nutrient delivery characteristics and, although they perform satisfactorily in the laboratory when constantly wetted, often cause unexpected salt build-up in cultivation. Osmocote Pro has been field tested in all conventional growing areas and climatic conditions before it was released in stores.

Uses:
for cost-sensitive crops

In principle, it is recommended to apply in the same quantities as Osmocote Exact standard.
