Second generation, controlled-release, coated fertilizer. Contains fully encapsulated NPK and trace elements. The controlled rate of nutrient uptake allows for full rate base fertilization or combination with nutrient leaching.

The base material is Osmocote quality natural plant resin,but a special process makes Osmocote Pro exceptionally resistant to the 'popcorn' phenomenon often associated with second generation products. Such products quickly lose their nutrient delivery characteristics and, although they perform satisfactorily in the laboratory when constantly wetted, often cause unexpected salt build-up in cultivation. Osmocote Pro has been field tested in all conventional growing areas and climatic conditions before it was released in stores.
The granules of Osmocote Pro High N 5 - 6 Month Fertilizer are 100% coated, contain magnesium in addition to NPK and all the necessary micro-nutrients. High nitrogen content type.

Use of Osmocote Pro High N 5-6H:
For cost-sensitive crop production - soil mixes containing organic matter, garden soil - for use at lower doses, e.g. to supplement a nutrient fertilisation programme - doses vary according to the duration of action and the nutrient requirements of the crop.Generally recommended to be applied at the same rates as ""Osmocote Exact standard"". Osmocote Pro can be used in combination with our water soluble fertilizers (e.g. Universol). It is recommended to mix the product into the growing medium. For particularly sensitive crops, we recommend the use of Osmocote Exact.
The efficacy of Osmocote Pro 5-6M is influenced by temperature (the efficacy is basically set at 21º C).
Dosage of Osmocote Pro High N 5-6H:
In combination with Osmocote Pro, a maximum addition of 0.5 g/l NPK starter fertilizer is recommended.
Doses are in grams per litre when using Osmocote Pro feed only.
