Why the vibration?

If you're struggling with moles, you've probably looked around the market and at first glance it may seem like there are a number of solutions available. Common search hits include traps, alarm smoke, ultrasound or certain chemicals. However, the use of traps and chemicals is strictly forbidden, as moles are protected animals. A protected animal can at most be deterred, but in no case killed (the latter option is not advocated in other cases). Of course, there are chemicals that have an alarming smell but are not toxic to moles. However, they also damage the soil and the plants.

Can I leave it outside in winter?

The device works without problems between -15 and 50 degrees. But if you don't need to use it in winter, you can certainly increase its lifespan by taking it in for the winter.

How deep into the ground should I stick it?

Again this depends on the compactness of the soil, it is best to have at least half of the mole repellent stem in the ground. Ideally, the sticker on the stem of the product should still be just out of the ground.
