Features of Magnesium Nitrate Haifa MAG:

A high purity nitrogen and magnesium fertilizer for nutrient leaching. It is a 100% water soluble fertilizer with no residual solubility. Nitrate-Nitrogen content is quickly absorbed by plants, resulting in an immediate and spectacular effect. It also increases the uptake of other nutrients such as potassium, calcium and magnesium. Ammonia-free, so can be used in hydroponics without limitation. Magnesium is essential for plants as a central component of chlorophyll. It is very important that both the soil and the plant have the right ratio of potassium to magnesium. By using this product we can avoid upsetting this ratio.

Composition:

  • total nitrogen: 11%
  • total nitrogen: 11%
  • magnesium content (MgO): 15%
  • Water solubility (20°C): 700 g/l
  • EC (1 g/l 25°C): 0,88 mS/cm
  • chemical activity (at 1% concentration): 6,5

Suggested use:

  • Can be used alone or as a supplement to compound nutrient solutions, also in hydroponics, taking into account the mixing rules.
  • Recommended concentration: 0,05-0,15%

When to use?

  • In sandy soils with low Mg content, for frequent irrigation
  • crops requiring Mg (sunflowers, rape, cucumbers, melons, potatoes, tobacco, tomatoes, peppers)
  • fertilisation with high doses of ammonia or potassium
  • on calcareous soils or after liming
  • unlike magnesium sulphate, it can be mixed with calcium fertilisers

What not to mix with?

Do not mix with phosphorus containing water soluble fertilisers.
