Description:
The freesia single flower mix surprises with wonderfully fragrant single flowers in mixed colours. This variety of freesia is a trouble-free garden plant that blooms easily. Moreover, it is an excellent cut flower, beautifully combined with other summer bulbs.
Planting:
A good planting time is March-April. Plant the bulbs 5-7 cm deep and about 7 cm apart (in 5 cm pots). Keep in full sun for abundant flowering.
Care:
Freesia grows well in fertile, humus-rich soil. Freesia also grows well in a nice flower pot or in the open ground. Water these freesias regularly, as the soil around the tubers should not dry out. Regular cutting of the dead flowers of the freesia can help it to flower again. Freesia is quite hardy. You can harvest the bulbs after the first frost and overwinter them frost-free.
