Lindsay Michelle dahlia is a rewarding summer flower that will give you months of pleasure. Lindsay Michelle blooms all summer from July until the first frosts. Lindsay Michelle grows to about 70 cm. tall. This dahlia is therefore also ideal for planting in pots on the patio or balcony.
Planting:
Dahlia tubers can be planted in spring. Lindsay Michelle is frost sensitive, so be careful of late night frosts. Dig a wide planting hole, loosen the soil and fill with good potting soil. Carefully place the tubers in the planting hole and cover with 3-5 cm of soil. Plant the tubers 30-60 cm apart.
Care:
Water the tubers immediately after planting. dahlias bloom most profusely in full sun. Store the tubers in a frost-free place after flowering and you can enjoy them for years. Lindsay Michelle combines well with perennials and other dahlias. The pink flowers are a real eye-catcher in the border. Lindsay Michelle is also an excellent cut flower and has a long vase life. The best time to pick dahlias is early in the day. Immediately place the sprouts in lukewarm water with cut flower water.
