Cat's-tail veronica (Veronica spicata) is an ornamental perennial, characterised by its medium size and bushy growth. It is a very showy plant, thanks to its blue-coloured clusters of flowers, which are admired in the first half of summer.

The pretty flowers, together with the elongated, pointed, lush green leaves, make a really pretty sight, whether planted in a rockery or a flowerbed.
Cat's-tail veronica is relatively easy to care for, but the only thing to keep in mind is that the soil should always be a little moist, so watering is a must. For planting, choose a sunny, bright spot where the soil is well drained.
Stagnant water can cause the roots to rot. It is advisable to cut off the dead flowers to increase the length of the flowering period. Diseases and pests are not to be feared. It can be propagated from seed or by division.
