Details
Coconut is a by-product of coconut processing plants, so it can also be considered environmentally friendly, coconut brine made from the ground coconut shell. Several fractions are separated. Coconut fibre has a fibrous structure similar to peat. The coconut residue is obtained from the fragmentation of the shell bark. It can absorb 7 to 8 times its weight in water, but it is also a good water conductor and air-permeable. It has a PH between 6.5 and 7.5. Available in various sizes of compressed blocks. The pressed bale can be loaded into the terrarium after soaking and used immediately. Ideal material. Easy to (re)wet, holds water well. It is not prone to mould.

Beneficial properties of coconut fibre:
Favourable water holding capacity and airy structure for roots
High water-holding capacity, good air circulation and airy structure
Provides faster and greater rooting than any other growing medium
Greater root mass development due to favourable water/air ratio
Guaranteed weed and pest free
Consistent, balanced quality, stable structure, can be used for up to 4-5 years
The temperature of the medium is balanced and its high buffer capacity mitigates environmental, technological and technical errors
Continuously renewable, environmentally friendly, easily recycled in other crops

The various different fractions of coconut fibre can be used to produce a suitable growing medium for each crop, which is delivered to the user in the form of different products.
