Artis Pro - Microbiological product for crop improvement

A biological insecticide/soil disinfectant formulation from Kwizda, which acts as a loop-feeding fungus to control soil pests (horsefly/horsefly, pupae, nematodes). The product contains spores of the fungus Beauveria bassiana, which creates unfavourable conditions for certain soil insects and nematodes. Suitable for all horticultural crops

Active ingredient of Artis Pro:

Artis Pro Mechanism of action:

Artis Pro contains spores of the fungus Beauveria bassiana, a fungal species which, according to the literature, by its presence, worsens the living conditions of various soil-dwelling insect larvae and nematodes, significantly reducing their damage, and can eliminate them under optimal conditions
(pH, soil moisture, salt concentration). In peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, root vegetables, onions, potatoes and other horticultural crops, studies in recent years have shown a clear increase in productivity, both by soil
application and by drip application. In root vegetables, the percentage of primary quality crops is improved.

In the context of integrated pest management, these biological organisms can be used to mitigate damage in addition to agrotechnical, chemical control, reducing toxicity risks in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way.

How to use Artis Pro:

Storage of the product:

It contains spores (overwintering formula), i.e. it is absolutely insensitive to cold and can be stored frozen for years. It is sensitive to heat, however, and should be stored below 15 °C, with a shelf life of 6 months. At higher temperatures, its shelf life is reduced to 3 months.

Initial steps, mixing the spray:

Soaking in hand-warm water for 24-36 hours before use will accelerate and improve the product's effectiveness. After spraying, the product should be worked or watered as appropriate, as its action is exerted in the soil. Not heat and light sensitive, application is necessary to obtain the best biological effect (soil-dwelling fungi).

Use of the prepared spray:

For soil treatment at 1.5-6.0 kg/ha (3-6 kg/ha in peppers and tomatoes) at a maximum concentration of 1% in aqueous suspension, sprayed on the soil surface before sowing or planting and then applied shallowly.For soil irrigation during the period of intensive growth at 1.5-6.0 kg/ha and applied at a maximum concentration of 0.1%, repeated as required.

For drip irrigation:

Remove the microfilter of the irrigation system and flush the system with clean water after irrigation!

In case of spraying:

The operating pressure does not have any negative effect on the efficiency, even 30-40 bar will not harm it, it is of no importance!

Important information for using Artis Pro!

• Do not use in flowering!
• Artis Pro is not to be used in all horticultural crops.
• Can be mixed with: soil improving bacteria, nutrients.
• Does not work in dry soil, but will not destroy!
• Expected to live 1-2 months in soil. The warmer it is and the more intensive the technology (foil, greenhouse), the sooner it dies because it overgrows, leaches, and is warm.
• In general, pH below 4.5 and above 8 should be avoided!

The EXTENSION of Artis Pro:

Do not use with fungicidal preparations, soil disinfectants that also act on biopreparative fungi, or Trichoderma-based preparations!
