Recommended for low-lying areas at risk of inland water/flooding, where the soil does not dry out completely in summer. In terms of utilisation, grazing after harvesting of the parent hay is the objective. With a ratio of 35% undergrowth, 45% fibre grass and 20% butterfly, the mixture is suitable for both mowing and grazing. The grass species are medium to high water-demanding, but tolerate short periods of drought. Both early and late developing species are present in the mix, so it is less sensitive to harvest time and forage is not stunted if water cover allows later mowing.
