It can be grown indoors near a window in winter and in a crate on the terrace or in the garden in frost-free weather. It is a reliable year-round supplementary food for these highly active animals, free of harmful substances. It is advisable to sow 1-2 pots per week to ensure that fresh greenery is always available. Any general soil mix is suitable for sowing, the seeds should be covered with 5 mm of soil and then watered thoroughly. Place the pots in a bright place at 10-15°C and do not let them dry out. Always harvest fresh and only small quantities.
