Large flowering, large-flowered, bright green-leaved cuttings in red, pink, salmon, white, orange, light pink. It can be planted in semi-shaded areas of the garden or in a window box, but also tolerates the sun well. Peronospora resistant varieties that can be grown successfully from seed. Nutrient rich, good water permeability, requires a moist soil mix. It is an annual when planted out, but can be overwintered indoors in pots. It is very sensitive to frost, so take this into account when planting in spring. A long-lasting feed is recommended before planting, followed by regular feeding every 2 weeks. It requires very high temperatures for seed germination, and the site must be well chosen for sowing.
