Not only in colour but also in flavour, the California peppers are assorted: 'Mavras' (purple)-spicy aroma, 'Coletti' (yellow)-extremely sweet, 'Bendigo' (red)-sweet and crisp, 'Milena' (orange)-fruity. Both raw and prepared, they have a very decorative overall effect. All hybrids are resistant to the major pepper viruses. Berry weight 150-180 g, plant height about 80 cm. Plant in a warm, sunny, sheltered position in lightly sandy, loose, humusy soil enriched with compost. For a better yield later, it is important that the first (middle) bud bursts out. In addition to regular 2-weekly feeding, it is important to replenish calcium to avoid browning of the peak.
