The active substance in Ranman Top is cyazofamid, which belongs to a new class of fungicides (cyanoimidazoles). The mode of action of the preparation is different from that of other preparations. The formulation of the active ingredient has been specially developed for potatoes and tomatoes. It provides very good coverage on the surface of the plants thanks to the adjuvant in addition to the contact acting cyazofamid, giving up to 10-14 days protection for potatoes and tomatoes. The formulation also has favourable environmental, toxicological and eco-toxicological properties.

Recommended crop protection technology:

In potatoes and tomatoes (field and sprouted), the product should be applied preventively in the period of infestation risk based on a forecast, at the latest at the first symptoms. The treatment should be repeated as necessary (up to 4 times) at intervals of 7-14 days depending on the infection pressure. In case of severe infestation risk, a shorter spray cycle (7-10 days) is recommended.

Small-scale uses:

In sprouted egg fruit, cucumber and courgette crops, treatments should be started on a preventive basis based on forecasts and at the latest at the first symptoms. The dose of the preparation should be adjusted to the height of the plants according to the above table. Treatments should be repeated every 7-14 days depending on the risk of infection. In conditions of high susceptibility to infection, a shorter (7 days) spray cycle is recommended.

In outdoor cucumber and pumpkin crops (courgette, pumpkin, asparagus, parsnip, sloe, muskmelon), the product should be applied as a preventive measure based on a forecast, but at the latest at the first symptoms. Repeat treatments are recommended every 7 to 14 days depending on the risk of infection. In highly susceptible conditions, a shorter (7 days) spray cycle is recommended.

In all cases, uniform and complete spray coverage should be sought, even within the foliage.

In order to prevent the development of resistance, the product should be applied in combination with other products containing active substances with other mechanisms of action against the listed diseases or in alternate applications in rotation.
