It can be used specifically for flowering ornamental plants to achieve a compact habit and to strengthen the plants. Due to the N:K ratio of 2:5, it can be used in irrigation water with relatively high nitrogen content and in combination with other nitrogen compounds (e.g. nitric acid). Universol Hard Water 225 softens hard irrigation water, neutralising its bicarbonate content.

The product is not recommended for use with soft irrigation water (e.g. rainwater). Universol Hard Water 225 should not be mixed in the same tank with any other Universol product or with other NPK fertilisers or phosphate fertilisers (except phosphoric acid).

To ensure perfect dissolution, prepare the stock solution 1-2 hours before application and mix thoroughly.
