Aloe ferox (Aloe ferox) 5 grains

Aloe ferox is a well-known herb, like Aloe arborescens or Aloe vera.
It is a non-branching, woody aloe species growing up to 3m tall. A woody species from South Africa, it has fleshy, broad, reddish-flowered leaves about 1m long.
Leaves have a tomentose edge and a brownish-red edge. leaves form a skirt on the trunk when dead. When in flower, it is a fantastic sight to behold. The inflorescences are erect, 30-35cm reddish-orange, and open in late winter. it is one of the most popular species in floriculture because of its ease of cultivation and growing. in Africa, for example, plants are grown on a huge farm to make various medicinal preparations (www.aloe.co.za).


Minimum temperature : Not frost tolerant.
Seed germination time is about 4-6 weeks.
